Originally appeared on www.jalgpall.ee, the Estonia FA website, we present you here a short interview with Estonia's left full back, Artur Pikk.
Artur was called up for the previous set of international games but it's not in the squad list that will travel to Lithuania and will receive England in Tallinn.
This is a series of presentations of the Estonian internationals about to take a new challenge in qualifiers. 'Rumori' will offer you an English version for each protagonist speaking to the official website.
Name: Artur Pikk
Role: Left full-back
Club: FC Levadia (EST, Premium Liiga)
Debut in national team: Eesti-Tadjikistan 2-1 (7th og June 2014) 'the atmosphere at the stadium was very good'
What is your best memory connected with the home crowd?
I played for the U-19 national team the U-19 Euro Cup final tournament in 2012. A lot of people came to support us for the game against Portugal (0-3 for the guests , Pikk scored an own-goal - edit) however, the atmosphere for the A-team games is a bit different. Against Portugal, there were more spectators than fans, instead at the A-team games there are more fans living the game than spectators.
What do you expect from the new qualification campaign?
My dream would be to play during the qualifiers, however it would be already very good if I would get another call to the squad. I believe the goal of the national team must be to reach the final tournament.
