Last week, Tammeka Tartu coach, German Uwe Erkenbrecher, turned 59.
Probably one of the most tenses birthday of his coaching career since his squad is busy with the play-off to retain their place in Premium Liiga.
Nonetheless, we think it’s worh to celebrate him and also wish good luck for the return game in Tartu.
According to RdS, he has been the Estonian football personage of 2013.
We will remind him for his ‘I’m-Uwe-and-I-cannot-keep-calm’ attitude on the touchline. For his tactical wits scribbled on a white-board shown to his men. For his chair, following him anywhere with any weather. For his umbrella sheltering him on the rainy (match)days. For his reading spectacles. But we will remember him also for his colourful interviews.
We have not missed almost any of those and we have collected the best sentences here for you to relive.
Enjoy and…buon compleanno Uwe!

“Our double team has won both game against them (Flora – A.P.) so we need to follow their example!”
Uwe releases the pressure over his squad’s shoulders ahead of the clash against Flora (13.5.2013)
“If we manage to get one or three points, that is a good result”
Uwe betting tip is unsettled by Paide winning 6-2 (24.5.2o13)
