Estonian internationals: Round-up (12)

Deni DelevComment

Very efficient weekend for the Estonian internationals as Puri, Vassiljev and Hunt were all on target. Historic 5th place in the German Bundesliga for captain Klavan as Meerits just missed out on Eredivisie after his team was eliminated by Roda in 2 legs.

Igor Subbotin – wasn’t in Mlada Boleslav’s squad (not even the U-21) for the past two weeks.

Teijo Teniste – standard on the right full-back position for Sogndal in their 7th win in the first 10 matches of the season, this time against Sandnes (1-2)

Frank Liivak – played a full match in the play-offs against CD Gerena as Alcobendas won the first battle (1-0). The Estonian international didn’t get the highest ratings according to this Spanish newspaper.

Konstantin Vassiljev – wonderful goal for the Estonian international in the match against Ruch which wasn’t enough for Piast to win (1-1) He was replaced in the 88th minute by Osyra.

Ragnar Klavan – historic win for Klavan and Augsburg away at Monchengladbach (1-3) that meant 5th position in the end of this season’s Bundesliga for Raku and Europa League matches next season. Enjoy his dance!
