FC Flora vs. Lokomotiv Jõhvi match preview

FOCUS ON FLORA (1/10, 40p)
The easy win against Viljandi in the Estonian Cup was a good way to warm up the engine before resuming the battle on the Premium Liiga fields. The tableleader will have the smoothest challenge of the matchday as Kalju will be visiting Infonet on Monday and Levadia will travel to Paide on Saturday. If Levadia wins, Flora will be behind the 2013 Champions for a mere 24h as Lokomotiv shall not constitute a serious threat for Hurt&Co. who have won 7 of the last 8 games, basically all the second round played so far. The chance to increase the gap with one of the rivals is juicy and they will not let it slip from their hands. For this reason, against Viljandi, Hurt opted for the best possible XI giving a rest only to Prins, Prosa and Gussev (the latters enter the pitch during the game). The intention is clear: not losing focus in this delicate moment of the season when title-flight could take the right turn as other clubs are busy in Europe.

The squad is fully healthy except goalie Mait Toom. The biggest concerns are Jürgenson, Baranov, Rähn and Mets: they are all one card away from their first suspension and next week Sillamäe is coming to town.

Key man: Alberto Prosa
The number 99 is back on the score sheet. With Premium Liiga third worst defence visiting, it should be a problem for him to net at least two.

Volchkov and Lazebnyi are the reinforcements brought through loans to the Eastern Estonia club occupying the last position on the table. They could help Loko in the so-called 6-point games (against Kalev and Tammeka) where they could bring their big-club experience, however it is quite unlikely that they could manage to get anything out of this game apart from limiting the goals conceded.

Additionally, Potapov and Paltsev are sidelined by suspensions whereas Ivanovs is still out due to his long term injury.

Key man: Maksim Bazjukin
He scared Kalju with his opener last week, he could try again thanks to his Premium Liiga long-term experience.

It will be quite unlikely to see Sander Post in the midfield position again as the experimental line-up was sufficient to go past Viljandi. However, considering the opponent, Hurt might opt again for a 4-1-4-1 giving the defensive midfielder position to Brent Lepistu and keeping Frolov on the trequartista line with Beglarishvili. One way or the other, a lot of headaches for the weak defense.
