While some of the Estonian internationals are still waiting for the beginning of the season, some are already in full throttle. Let's sum up this weekend's performance of the national team players and contenders abroad.
Igor Subbotin – again on the bench as his team took on Pribram and lost with 2-0
Artjom Artjunin – played 90 minutes in FC Brasov’s draw (1-1) against Astra in a match in which his team finished the game with 9 players on the pitch.
Frank Liivak – played 76 minutes in his team’s win over Atletico Madrid C. However, the Estonian international didn't manage to get his name on the scoring sheet.
Konstantin Vassiljev – played 90 minutes in his team’s surprising loss to Zawisza, who are stuck at the bottom and recorded only their second win of the season. Piast Gliwice is on the 10th position with 29 points.
Ragnar Klavan – played 90 minutes for his team in the loss against Hertha Berlin as they continued their winless streak which is now 4 games. After 23 games, Augsburg gathered 35 points and occupies the 6th position on the Bundesliga table.
Igor Morozov – stuck on the bench as his team continues the hunt for the top with their 5th win in a row. Debrecen lies 3rd on the table, 10 points behind Videoton.
Henri Anier – was brought in as a sub in the 52nd minute for Dundee Utd, but couldn’t prevent his team’s loss. 3 defeats in the last 4 games as they slowly lose the race with Inverness for the top 3 positions in the Scottish Premiership.
Marko Meerits (Emmen) – played 90 minutes in his team’s defeat to Volendam (3-2)
Henrik Ojamaa – wasn’t in Sarpsborg 08’s squad for the friendly match against Lillestrom because of a minor heel-injury.
Sergei Zenov – he was in the starting XI for Torpedo Moscow in his team’s win over Ural (2-1). It was a friendly match played in Belek, Turkey.
Karol Mets – played 90 minutes in his team’s win over FC Haugesund (2-0 friendly match at Randaberg Arena)
Mihkel Aksalu – was on the bench for his SJK in the crazy Liigacupin match against FF Jaro (his team won 3-4)
