FC Levadia vs. Lokomotiv Jõhvi match preview

Angelo PalmeriComment

Focus on FC Levadia (1/10, 78pts)
No one expected FC Infonet to give Estonian football fans two additional weeks of suspense. Probably Levadia either. However, the upcoming opponent shall not present any type of problem for the 2013 Champions who are more than willing to rise the title this year as well. If FC Infonet has the features to create troubles to Levadia, Lokomotiv are well far from that. The aggregate score (15-1) of the previous three games speaks per se. Levadia will just need to bring the ball in Loko's half and something will happen.

Ingemar Teever will be boosted by the national team call-up (after 8 years since his last game!) and certainly will try to increase his tally (14 goals).

Injuries and suspensions
Artjunin will miss this game and return for the away trip to Narva. Raudsepp is still in doubt due to injury.

Key-man: Igor Subbotin
The lousy defences of the bottom two minnows (Loko and Kalev) have been their best friends during the whole season. Could hit a brace or even a hat-trick if inspired.

Focus on Jõhvi (9/10, 18pts)
What started as a bad nightmare, it is ending into a glorious season. Halfway into the season, Loko had just three points and zero wins. The points are now 18 and the wins are already 4. The regular season is basically over since Loko cannot be directly relegated and has risen from the dumps too late. Everything, from this moment on, will be done in preparation of the double play-off game against the Esiliiga's team (at the moment Viljandi Tulevik). Therefore, they will play without any pressure the game at Kadriorg.

Injuries and Suspensions
Volchkov and Kulikov will miss out on suspension. A risk Rudomin, Kaivoja, Potapov and Nikulin will run for the next game.
Smelkov and Bazjukin are injured and their season is apparently over.

Key man: Alexander Nikulin
Can he score on a chilly Sunday afternoon at Kadriorg? Maybe yes.

Levadia fielded its traditional 4-4-2 in the 2-0 defeat against Infonet, 4-2-3-1 for Lokomotiv beating Tammek with same result (www.transfermarkt.de)
