Frank Liivak wore jersey nr.11 for the game against Pomigliano

Another friendly game for Saurini’s XI taking on Pomigliano, a Serie D side (5th tier) of a town in the Napoli hinterland.

The ‘Azzurrini’ won 3-0. After Luperto opened the score in first half, Selva (who came on for Liivak on 70’) and De Masi made it rounder in the dying minutes of the game.

Good performance by Frank Liivak who was positively evaluated by the colleagues following the game for IamNaples.it

Liivak 6,5
During the first half, he gives a lot of troubles to Pomigliano on the left flank. He has shown flair both on one-on-one’s and in the last 20 meters of the pitch. In the second half, Saurini moved as main striker (in 4-2-3-1 –edit) however he has not the same features to perform the same job done by Rubino last season (Rubino is on loan to Torres in Lega Pro –edit). Compared to De Iorio (tried in the same position) he has a better pace.

Napoli’s season in the ‘Campionato Nazionale Primavera’ will kick off in less than a week away at Crotone.

The access to the Youth League will depend upon the first team result in the play-off game against Atletico Madrid (1-1 last week in Naples).

TEAM NEWS: Polish striker, Pawel Krauz, is still on trial at the club. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Marco Di Maiolo has managed to convince Saurini&Co. and was signed from Benevento. He joins Nikita Contini and Alessio Gionta as Napoli Primavera shot stopper. The first home will be on the 13th of September against Lazio at Santantimo pitch. The full calendar of the Group C of the ‘CNP’ is available here.
