The Estonian medias were very excited this morning for this Facebook post appeared on SSC Napoli Official Facebook page.
Obviously the news that Frank had been called up for the game against Hellas Verona (Serie A last fixture) was huge that deserved the titles of:
Quite weird that Frank himself had not even tweeted the news on his Twitter account. The last one is regarding his call-up for the national team.
Was it possible that Frank would have not tweeted such a great news?
We reached a reliable source that confirmed us that Frank was not called up for tonight.
His name was wrongly mentioned in the Facebook page in place of the one of Lasicki, his Polish teammate in Napoli Primavera (the U-21) as you can see from the screenshot below from SSC Napoli official website (click to enlarge).
A blunder that created (unjustified) excitement from Estonian media, probably too much in ecstasy since Frank was called up in the national team by Pehrsson.
The first (Soccernet) broke the news, and the other four (as usual) let themselves go to the usual ‘copy and paste’ that characterizes, unfortunately, the world of Estonian football press, deprived of fantasy, creativity and, most of all, professionalism. If not resorting to plagiarism when needed.
The blunder is confirmed by the team picture below with the Coppa Italia (click to enlarge).
As you can see, Frank is not there. Lasicki is the eight from left after the technical staff and the Napoli President, Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Frank is still in Ostuni where is being a great protagonist of a local youth tournament as confirmed by FootballScout24.
You’ve been punk’d!
