Estonian players abroad are not going through one of the most memorable periods.
Among those, Sergei Mośnikov who had signed a contract with FC Tobol Kostanai.
The 27-year-old Pärnu born has started his season under the radar until he scored a goal against Irtysh Pavlodar (the club previously coached by Tarmo Rüütli).
Still time to participate to Tobol’s famous win against Shakhtar Karagandy, and Mośnikov disappeared from the XI.
He played only 34’ of that confrontation.
In fact, Sergei Mośnikov will be nursing a knee injury for about 2-3 months according to reports we received from Kazakhstan.
Meanwhile, also the Armenian coach, Vardan Minasyan, has left the club. According to our sources, he was sacked; however other reports from the Central Asia country talk about resignation.
Even though the start of season was not too enthusing for the Kostanai club, it seems that, still according to our sources, the Armenian manager has never glued well with the local Akim (head of the akimat, the local municipality – a mayor).
The club, shall be reminded, is owned and funded by the local government in Kostanai.
