2’ – Kalimullin fouls Nunes
The challenge for the ball starts well out of the box between the FC Infonet central defender and the Nõmme Kalju striker. They are both fighting with their arms to get one better of the other. In the end, Kalimullin resorts to try and tackle Nunes from the side in the attempt of reaching the ball. He misses the ball completely and makes Nunes lose balance (check the video below). The Brazilian later hits on Semakhin while falling, but Kalimullin committed the foul. 100% penalty.
33’ – Fabio Prates kicks Avilov
Fabio Prates controls the ball with his chest in the box. In the attempt of putting it down, he instead flicks it. Avilov is quick in reading the situation and tries to disturb the Brazilian midfielder who is about to kick the ball away from the box. It should be noted that Prates is always and solely looking at the ball (he doesn’t realize Avilov is coming let alone that he’s trying to disturb him) and that the latter is always in his control. Avilov tries to reach the ball with what would rather seem a dangerous play. In the end he gets also hurt and Prates too (he’s limping after the ref’s whistle, check video below). We cannot understand why Tarajev grants a penalty to FC Infonet.
73’ – Handball by Jorge Rodrigues
Notwithstanding Rodrigues spirited attempt to explain he touched the ball with his chest, Tarajev was adamant in assigning the penalty. Rodrigues protest earned him a yellow. Was it really handball there? Unfortunately, the footage is not ideal (check yourself the video below). We rely on our reporter’s view at the game: ‘I can confirm, Rodrigues touched the ball with the chest’ told Deni Delev who reported about the game in Sportland Arena for Rumori ‘it was the same impression everyone else had at the ground. Even Infonet players were not sure whether they should have asked a penalty or not’.
Later on, Vitali Teleś rebounded Valov's take earning his seat in the Optibet Best XI for matchday 28.
