Our 'Best XI' competition gets going!

All the top players of the Premium Liiga are now sprinting to become the best players of season 2014.

The selection of the 'Best XI' from each matchday is now sponsored by Optibet, Sports & Casino .

Let's discover which was the 'Optibet Best XI' for matchday 30 as chosen by 'Rumori'
We will also take a look at the general standings*** (top5 for each role).

Goalkeepers - Lavrentjev breaks the duopoly
After two weeks of Teleś-Śmiśko challenges, Sillamäe's goalkeeper gets the mention after holding actively the clean sheet against FC Infonet. In fact, the 24-year-old shot stopper managed to save a penalty taken by Manucho. He gets into the top5 cutting off the Flora goalkeeper, Stanislav Prins.
Defenders - defending goalscorers
Once and again, a mention for defenders who are able to net goals and help their side in bringing points home. First mention for Ken Kallaste, pemanently in the overall Best XI, who gives Kalju the lead on 90' minutes before Nunes secured the win (3-1). Behind him, good mention for Volodin scoring the safety goal against Infonet in injury time. Rauno Tutk's screamer did not bring points but will certainly run for the best goal of the season along with other contestant as the Tammeka's central defender had a go at Stanislav Prins from 40 meters. Levadia was merciful to Kalev and scored 'only' 5 this time with Podholjuzin contributing (first seasonal goal). Special mention for Jürgenson who had a good performance in Tamme Stadium and transformed the penalty on 62' minutes.
Midfielders - Subbotin rules
The Levadia nr.10 keeps his engine warm looking forward to the upcoming round of derbies that will act as deciders for the title race: 4 goals that transform him in the most prolific striker at Levadia (23 goals, 7 scored to Kalev only, his favourite victim). Alliku is behind him this time as gave troubles to Tammeka's left side during all 90 minutes.
Back on board for Zakaria Beglarishvili. The talented Georgian trequartista ends a luckluster period of alternate performances sealing a great goal in Tartu. Mention for Wakui behind him as the Japanese Wizard serves the fine assist for Nunes two-one-up goal. The latter is mentioned in the midfield of the 4-2-3-1 but earns point as a striker thanks to his brace. Behind him, Irakly Logua (goal and assist for Prosa). The derby is warming up.
Martin Ustaal (Paide Linnameeskond) and Lasha Naveriani (Lokomotiv Jõhvi) are the midfielders in front of the defence with the latter scoring an utterly important goal for Loko securing them the second win of the season and the hope to clinch an unhoped-for play-off spot if they beat Kalev next weekend.
After the break against Levadia, the Premium Liiga topscorer finds his place back in the XI. Albert Prosa is behind him. It will be quite hard for the Tartu-born Estonian striker to catch up with the Ukrainian forward.
