Focus on PAIDE LINNAMEESKOND
Paide have managed to return to the three points after six games in a row. It was the 1st of March when they shocked Premium Liiga by beating the defending Champions of Levadia.
After that, only 3 draws and 2 losses for Meelis Rooba side.
Additionally, before scoring 4 goals against Tammeka last week, they had managed to hit the back of the oppositions' net only 3 times. Stats that confirm the problems for Rooba's side when comes to try and finish.
Obviously injuries have not been helping their cause as Nigerian Uwa is still sideline (uncertain until when). Rooba had to resort to Liivo Leetma's experience (he is 37 years old) to bring the win from Tartu.
Lokomotiv's troubles might offer the ideal sparring partner to achieve a second win in a row, the first home.
The squad is healthy. Even Kõvtunovits, who got small knock last weekend, has fully recovered.
Full licence for the flankers to put pressure on Lokomotiv's weak defence (give a look at the space given to Subbotin last week) giving the chance to 'Paidelona' to attack with a 4-3-3
Key-man: Rasmus Tomson
After a difficult start away from the starting XI for injury, Rasmus can really be the added value for Paide and score more goals from his attacking position
Focus on LOKOMOTIV JÕHVI
Everyone knew it was not going to be easy for Loko to survive in Premium Liiga, however what looked like a mission impossible back in pre-season, now it seems like a desperate task.
The poor Viktors Nesterenko, a football gentleman as few left, was fired following 7 win-less games (just one point in Tartu against Tammeka) and an embarassing elimination in the Estonian Cup quarter final against amateur side HÜJK Emmaste. The latter was actually used as the official excuse to sack the 48-year-old coach born in Nikopol (Ukraine).
However, it seems like the real reason was the lack of results in the first quarter of the season. The Estonian Cup has brought several giant-killing this season, so the elimination of Lokomotiv was relatively a shock.
As revealed by RdS, the new coach is Alexey Tikhomirov, a 44-year-old youth coach at Zenit St.Petersburgh.
In a youth tournament in Italy last year, he has fielded his side with a 4-1-4-1.
We cannot certainly expect wonders immediately.
Lokomotiv defence hasn't proved one of the best of the Premium Liiga (they are the second worst after Kalev Tallinn). Talking about any special tactics to avoid Paide seems out of place. Tikhomirov will have probably to work more on the attitude rather than any type of tactical wit to implement. Tikhomirov said he likes Dutch football, however, a pure 4-5-1 with 'catenaccio' shall be the only solution to try and make Paide's life harder.
Rooba's XI has finally found the way to the goal against Tammeka. Goldber, Tomson and Rõivassepp have proved that they can penetrate well weak defence. Paidelona will charge Lokomotiv defensive wall since minute 1 trying to exploit all Loko's flaws. They should not risk too much in transition as Loko have not been particulary brilliant at.

Roomer Tarajev is the match director for the Central Estonia clash between the two drop-zone contenders.
Last week he celebrated 100 games in Narva not without a controversial direction as was harshly criticized by Bondarenko.
In his first 100 games he has shown 429 yellows (4,29), 14 times a second booking and 14 times a straight red card.
He has directed 23 games of Paide with a balance of 4 wins, 2 draws and 17 losses.
