We’re about two weeks to the start of Premium Liiga and clubs are already wrapping up pre-season with friendlies and short training camps. Levadia have gone to Lithuania (Marjampole) where they have already played a friendly against Kaunas Stumbras. Today they will take on FK Trakai. Meanwhile, in Riga, FC Flora clashes with Skonto Riga.
Tammeka Tartu instead, continue their preparation in the city. A friendly game against Rakvere Tarvas was cancelled due to the bad conditions of the pitch in Rakvere. A difficult situation for the blues as Tartu does not have an indoor hall where they can prepare the upcoming season quietly.
Nonetheless, the Tammeka stronghold, Tamme Stadium, is still a good venue for indoor activities. And team picture.
The one above is an exclusive view granted to Rumori readers.
This is what could be Tammeka 2015 squad. ‘It’s a pre-season team photo,’ explained Kalle Paas, Tammeka CEO, ‘it is done with last season’s strips, but the squad is almost what will be the 2015 squad.’
Having a look at the two rows, we can see that both captain (Jürgen Lorenz) and vice-captain (Tauno Tekko) are there. They were elected democratically by the squad in the past days.
The second row features the only African player left on trial, Ivorian Dougouti Ballo. The veterans, Kaarel Kiidron and Kristjan Tiirik, are also there.
Also Jõgi brothers, Markus and Martin are featured in the shot. A new face is striker Kristjan Moks, on loan from Võru JK who aspires to be a start in Koser's XI as he confessed to Võrumaa Sport in the past days.
Several young players are part of the squad: Temari Nuuma (1996, from Põlva Lootos) Johannes Kollist (1997, from double team JK Luunja) Tristan Koskor (1995, from double team JK Luunja) and Martin Aasmäe (1996, from double team JK Luunja, with already several appearances in Premium Liiga).
Kalle Paas confirmed to Rumori that Tammeka will change the strip for 2015 season, featuring also new sponsors.
