In a long interview to France Football, Allan Kimbaloula took the chance to wrap up season 2014: the good start, the call up with Congo national team and the injury that prevented him from completing the season.
‘What is paradoxical in my situation,’ explained Allan ‘is that even though I have not played in the past six months, I have still kept receiving offers!’ The French nr.10 (at Kalju since 2012) admitted he received proposals from Portugal, Belgium and even French Ligue 1.
Allan explained that, contrary to what believed in the aftermath of his injury (ligaments rupture), the exams revealed a knee sprain that affected the meniscus.
He revealed that back in Autumn he decided not to rush his recovery to avoid further problems. ‘It is now a month since I have started the physical preparation,’ said Allan to FF ‘I'm training again with the group since a fortnight. For now, all is good I can tackle and shoot. I do not feel any discomfort and I have an excellent feeling, it's a good sign. I will also make my comeback on the occasion of a friendly match this week.’
Kalju will take on Paide Linnameeskond on a friendly game on Saturday the 17th of January at 8pm.
