In a short interview with Alvar Tiisler from Estonian public broadcaster ETV, Igor Subbotin (Levadia’s 2014 topscorer) confirmed that there’s been interest from abroad towards him.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder confessed that his agent received requests. ‘After the end of the season I will go and check,’ told the Levadia’s nr.10 to ETV.
According to Rumori’s sources, interest came from a German 3.Liga club, SSV Jahn Regensburg.
However, his agent, Latvian Aleksandrs Bogdanovs, has denied any connection between Igor and this club. 'They are only rumours' told Bogdanovs 'the truth is that Igor, a player who has scored over 30 goals, has received interest from everywhere.'
The agent did not specify from which country exactly, however indicated Scandinavia and the UK as the areas where the requests came from.
Subbotin will probably go on trial soon after the international break since he has been called up for all the three games the Estonian national team is about to take (Norway, San Marino and Jordan).
